Alpha Gamma Delta provides four scholarships to support current members, incoming UBC students and deserving female leaders. Since establishment, we’ve provided 40 awards totalling $68,205.
For an outstanding all-round female secondary school graduate entering UBC. We look for students with a sense of purpose who exemplify the values that have defined Alpha Gamma Delta since our founding in 1904. One scholarship of $2,000 is awarded annually.

The Embark leadership program for female undergraduate leaders at nine Canadian universities provides cohort-based leadership enrichment activities, community-building programming, mentorship from a business or community leader, and need-based financial support in awards of $500+.
Application deadline: September 30
For members of our Delta Zeta Chapter at UBC entering their second or higher year of study. Last year, three scholarships of $4,700 were awarded. Alpha Gamma Delta is the only sorority to offer a scholarship through UBC.
Application deadline: September 15
For members of our Delta Zeta Chapter at UBC entering their third or higher year of study, established in honour of our chapter’s upcoming 100th anniversary in 2030. One scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded annually. Applicants from our chapter are also automatically considered for other Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation scholarships.

If you’re a high school student planning to attend a Canadian or US university with sororities this fall, we also encourage you to apply for the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) Centennial Scholarships. The NPC is made up of 26 inter/national sororities including Alpha Gamma Delta, and awards ten scholarships of US$2,000 each annually.

The Vancouver Alumnae Chapter also provides a Student Exchange Bursary for members of our Delta Zeta Chapter at UBC who go abroad on exchange. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis.
Undergraduate members of Alpha Gamma Delta are expected to maintain a 65% average (75% for scholarship eligibility), and the chapter has an executive officer dedicated to helping ensure everyone achieves her academic potential at UBC.
